Some of the most profound things can be summed up in just a few words. For example,

Boy Scout Slogan: 5 words.
Boy Scout Law: 15 words.
Philmont Grace: 23 words.
Boy Scout Oath: 40 words.
The Lord’s prayer: 66 words.
The 10 Commandments: 179 words.
The Gettysburg address: 286 words.
The Declaration of Independence: 1,300 words.
The US Government regulations on the sale of cabbage: 26,911 words. (waaayy too many words)!

Coach Glassman’s definition of fitness falls into the category short and sweet.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:

•Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.
•Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.
•Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch.
•Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.
•Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy.
•Keep workouts short and intense.
•Regularly learn and play new sports.
