Monday, 8/3/09

No training. Second day of DOMS  worst than the first!

Tuesday, 8/4/09

Military Press, x 5: 95/115/132/142/152/.

Bulgarian Training Bag, 60 reps each:

  • Swings: 4 x 15
  • Swing + Jump Squat: 6 x 10.
  • Lunges: 3 x 20.
  • Halos, 10 each side: 3 x 20.

Wednesday, 8/5/09

Ran a mile with the Bulgarian Training Bag on my shoulders in 15:20. I also did 120 halos and some step-ups and swing/jump squats.

Thursday, 8/6/09

No Training

Friday, 8/7/09

Snatch + Snatch Balance Clusters, 20 seconds rest between clusters, 2  minute rest between sets.

from hang: 65/70/75/80/85/.

from ground: 90/95/100/105/.

Singles: 110/115/.

Saturday, 8/8/09

With David Y. and Tony T. we did 4 rounds of:

  • Keg Bear hug Carry, 100+ lbs 40 yds
  • Sandbag Carry, 100#, 40 yds,
  • Farmers Carry, 230# 40 yd
  • Sled Pull, 125# 40 or so yards out and the same backwards.

Extra Stuff: 3 additional keg carries, 2 x 430# Farmers Carry, 20 yards each. I also did 3 x 10 Bulgarian Training Bag Swings + Jump Squats.
