Jogged a mile and it sucked.
1 H Kettlebell Swings, 24 kg: 20/20/20/20.
Kettlebell Snatches, 24 kg: 20/20/10/10/20/.
Tuesday, 6/9/09

Sandbag Clean
Trained with Jon Curry
Snatch, x 3: 45/45/65/70/75/80/85/85/. Singles: 90/95/100/.
Sandbag Medley, 3 x 6:
- Bent Over Rows
- Power Cleans
- Zercher Squats
- Push Presses
- Back Squats
- Good Mornings
Wednesday. 6/10/09
Military Press, 5×3: 95/115/135/145/155/165/155/.
Thursday, 6/11/09
Pause Squats: set the pins at 5, ass to ankles and held for a second.
135×2/135×5/155×3/185×3/185×3/225×3/225×3/245×2/245×2/255×2/265×2/275×2/. Towards the end I was at 75%+ of my 1RM.
Friday, 6/12/09
No training
Saturday, 6/13/09
Weight at 222# on Day One of Velocity Diet
Squat Clean + Push Press: 90×2//90×2/100×2/
2 + 2, one from floor, one from hang. 100/110/121/131/141/151/156/161/.
Kettlebell Swings, 32 kg: 25/25/25/25/.
Conan’s Wheel for a finisher, 335# but not that far.
Sunday 6/14/09
5 rounds, 5 reps each of,
Keg Clean & Press, 62#
Sandbag Burpee Clean & Press, 70#
For the finisher, Keg Bear Hug Walk: 50 steps/55/75.
I also continued on the second day of the Velocity Diet, but definitely need to drink a LOT more water.

Interesting – why did it suck?
I haven’t run much this year, even as a warm-up. Literally, my first step almost became an achilles injury. I’ll have another go at a run this week.
