bells-and-bumpersThis week was supposed to be a deload week and for the most part it was, except I hit it hard on Saturday. But that is ok, since I got plenty of rest.

Monday, 5/11/09

No training.

Tuesday, 5/12/09

Burgener Warm-ups, 3x

Hang Snatch: 65×2/70×2/75×2
Snatch, x 2: 88/90/95/95/100/105/110/110/. Singles + 5 overhead squats: 110/110/.

Wednesday, 5/13/09

Sandbag Power Clean + Front Squat, 100# 5 x 5. That was harder than I expected and definitely more difficult than if doing it with a barbell. It was over quickly, but I knew it was a quality training session.

Thursday, 5/14/09

Push Press: 45×5/65×5/95×5/.
Doubles: 125/135/145/155/165/185/195/205f/205/210 f/210 pr/.

Kettlebell Snatch, 24 kg: 20/20/20/.

Back Extensions: 10/10/15/15/.

Reverse Hypers, x 8: 50/70/70/90/.

Friday, 5/15/09

No Training

Saturday, 5/16/09

Played around with a keg, about 65#. Clean and press: 1×5/1×6/1×10/1×10/1×10/1×10/1×5/.

Barbell Squat Clean + Front Squat, x2: 65/85/88/95/115/135/139/155/.

Clean Deadlift w/hook grip, x 3: 155/205/225/245/255/

Standard Deadlift, x 3: 300/320/340/362.

Walked 200 meters with a 100# sandbag.

Sunday, 5/17/09:

No training.
