Training Log, Week Ending 11/8/09
Good stuff happened this week and Tuesday was a high volume, CNS-blasting session, masterly programmed by the Brengel. The week finished with a deloading week, starting on Saturday, followed by an unexpected, surprise training session Sunday.

Power Cleans (still with the training wheels): 113×3/113×3/133×3/133×3/133×3/133×3/.
Log Push Press, 2 mb: 50×6/80×5/100×5/130×3/150×2/singles: 160/170/180, best rep/185f/.
Back Squat, 2 purp bands: 135×5/185×5/205×3/225×3/singles: 275/300/315/325/.
Concentric pull-ups, w/20#, 2 purp, 5 sec: 3×5.
Mini band Chest Pulls: 3 x 12.
Spread Eagles, w/weight: 10#x8/20#x8/25×6/30×6/.
Thursday, 11/5/09
RDL: 155×8/200×6/243×6/265×6/275×6/285×6/.
Reverse Grip Barbell Rows, x 6: 155/175/155/. Not at all a comfortable a grip for me.
DB Tricep Pullovers + 2 Skullcrushers, x 13: 30/50/60/.
Glute Ham Raises, w/ 2 mb: 8/w/1 mb: 6/no mb: 7/.
Russian Twists on a Swiss Ball, x 8: 25/35/25/.
Saturday, 11/7/09 Start of Deload Week
Box Squats DE, 2 purp: 95×5/135×5/155×2/155×2/155×2/175×2/175×2/175×2/175×2/. Started off slow with no explosion out of the hole but corrected once I warmed up.
Axle Push Press, 2 mb: 65×3/85×3/95×3/95×3/105×3/105×3/105×3/105×3/.
Prowler Push + 90#: 6 x 80′.
Prowler Pulls + 130#, 80′ in 16 long strides. 3 sets.
Iso Split Squats: about a minute and a half each leg.
Sunday, 11/8/09
Should have been a day off but since I was so aggravated by the Packers crappy play, I needed an outlet.
Snatch Balance doubles: 65/75/80/85/90/.
Snatch doubles: 65/75/80/85/90/95/100/. I haven’t done these in months and my form was garbage.
Sandbag Carries, 150 lbs: 160′/170′/.
