It has been a while since I had a good "smoker" workout. I have been overdue and tonight was ideal for a good kick-ass WOD. The temperature finally cooled down today and I felt a bit more energized later in the day than I had. I took a look at the Crossfit HQ site and they had a good one, so I did it.

5 rounds, for time,
21 Hang Power Cleans
12 Handstand Push-ups
in the time of 17:22

I
had an assist on the HSPU’s but got better than 50% ROM on all reps. My
sets on the HPC’s were all broken, but I got all 105 reps "in the bank’.

A
few hours earlier, I did my push up routine of 2 sets of 3 different
types of push-ups, decline, standard and incline, in that order.
50/37, 35/30, 35/30, for a total of 217.

My
back is fine or at least recovered from what wasn’t really a herniation
but a bad strain with nerve impingement and decreased mobility and
plenty of pain.

Back to "Good Times", eh Brent? I’ll go to the track this weekend and see what I can do.
