Brent and I got an early morning workout today at Met-Rx to do the day’s WOD, which was:

50 box jumps on a 20″ high box
5 rope climbs up a 15′ rope
50 Kettlebell or dumbbell swings, 52 lbs
50 sit-ups
50 dumbbell hang power cleans with 2×40# dbs
800 meter run
50 back extensions

Since we had no rope, we tried towel pull-ups and tossed that idea and instead performed either 50 pull-ups, which Brent did and the 100 jumping pull-ups I did. Brent stayed with the rx’ed weights while I scaled back a bit, which in retrospect, I could have come up a little in weight. Even coming off a rest day, I was ambivalent abut doing this WOD until we got started. Brent was a bit fatigued from a week of straight training, but you would never know the way he gets through his workout.

I timed out at 24:05.
