Another week goes by and the squat weight increases by 10 lbs. 5×5 @ 185# followed by 135# 5×5 with 3 seconds in the hole.

I ran 800 meters and did two CFWU’s and some empty bar and light squats to get started.

That went very well and there was still more gas in the tank so I decided to do the deadlift singles as posted on the Crossfit HQ site. I debated whether or not to do this today because week 4 of my pulling routine is due. I may do that one early next week. I was really anxious to attempt a deadlidt PR since I hadn’t done so in a while and I felt good enough to get the PR by 10lbs.

155×5, 245×1, to warm-up, then the singles: 315/335/385 pr/335/335/335/335.

That was nice. When you know you have a PR ready to be had, best to go get it and I am glad I did!
