Today was the best I’ve felt in several days as I got my butt kicked by allergies. In spite of that, I managed to enjoy a big Badger win over Michigan and a huge Packer blowout of the Minnesota Vikings. In between that, we celebrated Val’s birthday in the fashion she most enjoyed. I also got in a decent session doing some hang squat cleans and clean and jerks.

Today, though, while I felt much better, I had no idea what I was going to train so I did 3 rounds of Burgener warm-ups with an empty 45# bar before moving on to some,

Overhead Presses: 95×3/115×3/125×3, then with mini-bands, all were 3 rep sets: 115/115/125/115/115/115/115/.
That loosened me up to do,
Hanging Power Snatches.
(Again, 3 rep sets):
45/65/75/85/85/70/70/.

Tomorrow, I will have to come up with something metabolically challenging…it’s been a while.
