On the days I train at Met-Rx, this is the corner I hang out in. Plenty of weight to keep me busy. There is a power rack (another one is outside) and three other racks with Oly bars. Some days it can get quite busy back there as there are powerlifters at this gym. Usually though, I can get in here without a wait, even at 5:00 pm, although early am would be better still.
This is where I did my WOD today which was another 20 minute timed session that called for 12×65# power snatches and 10 pushups. the pushups were a piece of cake but the snatches broke on the 3rd round and that sucked. I went for 6 and 6 on the third round to 4-4-4 on 6th to the 9th. So at the end of 20 minutes, I got in 9 rounds and this was harder than yesterday’s effort. Thankfully, tomorrow is a rest day unless Brent calls and talks me into a workout!!
