With the gym closing less than 40 minutes after I got there, I had to hurry through a warm-up to get this session in. I succeeded in that and got a 3RM PR in the lift with gas in the tank to go heavier, given more time.

I espcially like this lift because everything gets tightened, making it a phenomonal core exercise. If you off by just a little anywhere, the lift fails.

I had no fails or bailouts, but I did get 8 sets of 3 in.

65/85/95/105/110/115/120pr/95×5.

As I said, with more time, a better warm-up and going heavier sooner, I probably had at least 20# I could have added. We’ll see the next time.
