Life is grand! I slept in, wandered about the house aimlessly for while, went to breakfast and came back to park myself in front of the sofa for some NFL action. Nothing unusual about that for Sports Fan, but I still managed to get in a good, solid smoker workout at halftime for the afternoon games. Having done that, I can return to the sofa to watch the second half AND watch one of the nation’s longest and greatest sports rivalry, the Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears at Lambeau in Green Bay. To make this a magnificent day, I don’t think I have to tell what will have to happen! Go Pack, Go!
As to my training, it took just 17:04, all of it kettlebell swingin’ ladders. Here is how I set it up:
4 rounds, 3 kettlebells, 16, 20 and 24 kg.
Round 1 : 15 reps, left arm starting lightest to heaviest, non stop. Repeat with the right arm. 2 minute rest.
Round 2: 10 reps each arm, left then right. Move to the next bell. 2 minute rest.
Round 3: 10 reps each arm done like the first round.
Round 4: 5 reps each arm, same way.
Total reps: 240/ Time: 17:04/ Total volume: 4,800 kg (10,560 lbs).
