By late afternoon on a Friday, it is usually pretty sparse at the gym and empty in the powerlifting corner, but not so tonight. Maybe people were getting their workouts in so they could party tomorrow for St. Patty’s. In any event, it was busy in my corner. I had to keep clearing out "my area" so I could focus on the deadlifts which require concentration as the weight on the bar increases. Maybe it is better to have distractions while deadlifting. Same thing when a golfer is trying to make the winning putt while the play-by-play guy is all jacked up, setting up the play like he was calling the game-winning field goal in a big football game. The Crossfit WOD was 7 sets, 3 reps. My goal was 325 lbs for my 3RM and I hit it.

Tomorrow should be a day off, but I might run sprint intervals at Sand Dune Park and then Sunday, either rest or do the Crossfit Total. Nice to have good choices.
