MarkFu had some excitement during his workday and a good, if uneventful training session. As I got off the 55 freeway in Santa Ana, CA and waited at the traffic signal, Santa Ana Police cruisers with sirens blaring came from all directions and surrounded an SUV and moments later, 8 or more cops opened fire on the driver, killing him in the stlolen SUV. My customers were down the street and we watched the news choppers vector to the scene and then watched the "breaking news" on tv. Here it is.

I had a decent training session, but although I lifted the weights I wanted to lift, every rep seemed heavier than usual. This caused me on more than one occasion to add up the poundages.

I started of by doing
kettlebell presses as a warm-up. 3×20 (10/10) with a 24 kg bell.

Back Squats @ 80-85% of 1RM: 240×2/240×2/240×2/255×2/260×2/260×2/245×2/.
Deadlifts singles @ 60-90% of 1RM: 245×3/285/315/325/355/360/335.
