If there is anyone running for president in 2008 more vacuous than the “Breck Girl” John Edwards. I haven’t heard him speak. This guy won’t even make it to the primaries let alone a sniff to be the Democratic candidate! To say “global warming will make world war look like heaven” shows him for the dipshit he is. He also states that the US is responsible for 25% of the world’s greenhouse gases and asks what kind of example are we sending to China and India (like they care). If anything, they would love for us to cripple our economy by following the admonitions of Gore, Edwards and all the other GW Chicken Littles and Blame America First whiners. Damn ambulance chaser.

By the way, moonbats, name a country doing a better job cleaning up the environment than the US? None of those European signers of the Kyoto Protocol are meeting their own standards and in fact, the US has lower emissions than the Euro-greenies. You wouldn’t believe all the regulatory obstacles in the chemical industry I am a part of. We have had to lower VOCs, ban CFCs, ban many solvents, have products that neutralize hazardous waste and generally make “nice” with the planet. And I am all for it. Keep the place clean. As stringent as the regs are here in California and elsewhere, we still have products legal here that major corporations can’t even use. (Just today, I had a “green” product turned down by a major transportation company because it did not meet their internal regulations). For those like Gore and Edwards who say America is not doing it’s part and we are the world’s major polluter, they are just flat out lying to the people of this country.

Finally, to further demonstrate his political ineptness, Edwards cancels out on the Fox News debates because he says he wouldn’t get a fair shake. Really. Did he feel that way on his 30 previous appearances on the biggest cable news station in the country? Last I heard, even his home state of South Carolina is tuning him out.
