Here’s a quick clip of World Masters’ Powerlifting Champion Lee Marshall pulling an incredible 365.5 kg. After competing for almost 18 years, he’s convinced that you’re never too old to lift heavy.

    Thats nuts man; is that cross grip the proper way to grip?

    Yeah, the alternating grip is the way to go, keeping both arms straight like cables. If he were to do both overhand, he would need straps to lift it.

    That’s quite a bit of weight. Crazy stuff. 18 years of competition? That’s kinda crazy too.

    Check out these old farts and what they lift.
    • Bill Hartmann, age 60, lifted 733 pounds
    • Roy Mason, age 70, pulled 529 pounds
    • John Gorton, age 80, lifted 370 pounds
    • At age 90, Gorton pulled 330 pounds
    • Collister Wheeler, age 97, lifted 195 pounds
    Crazy, huh?
