Today was to be a day off, but once I saw what tomorrow’s WOD will be, a 10K, I decided to take tomorrow off instead. I’ll just have Val run the 10K for me.
I wanted to do squats and so I led off by doing 5 x 5 of overhead squats @ 45/55/65/75/85 lbs. After a short break, I did 6 x 3 of back squats @ 135/170/205/175/155. The third set was at 80% of my 1RM and the last two sets were pause squats, which means I stayed at the bottom of the squat, the "hole", for a 3-count. This eliminates any bounce coming back up. It turned out to be a pretty good workout.
