In spite of the hot temperatures inside and outside of the gym,  it was pretty crowded today, so to I chose to find a place to do my push-ups and pull-ups and not compete with the iron tonight. I did the Crossfit warm-up followed by the usual push-up routine I do 3x a week. I increased the level of difficulty by going higher on the declines and inclines, which lowered my scores a bit. I did 45/25, 25/26, 30/31 for a total of 182. My pull-up sets were 5/6/10/6/5/4/, I was in and out of there in 45 minutes.

My back feels much better and ready to handle loads again. My left leg felt a bit weird for about 3/4 of the 800 meter run due to the nerve impingement, but aside from that went well.

While I don’t know if I will ever do a muscle-up again, (last time was in high school), there is a tutorial for that and other gymnastic related movements here. It is very comprehensive and a lot of other interesting  training ideas and tutorials. Check it out.
