Last weekend, I started do sets of deadlifts with 5 reps per set and 1 minute rest between each set. This week I upped it to six sets and that last set was a beast. I t didn’t help that the two days previous were heavy lifting days and as the set was getting underway, my phone rang and some woman had to inform me of the fact as if I was going to drop everything (265 lbs) to take the call.

Really looking forward to next week at 7×5. Ugggh!

On another note, my bud Brent "Mighty Oak: Oakeson crushed in the first ever Crossfit Games weekend in Aromas, CA. Out of 60 competitors, some of whom dropped out, I’m told, Brent placed 9th overall. Awesome effort and total, my friend!
