As many of you know, there are many pieces of equipment you can build on the cheap for your home gym. You have the Slosh Pipe, the Hungarian Care Blaster and now, the Bulgarian Training Bag. Rosstraining.com is well-known for his collection of homebrew strength and conditioning implements.
Back in August of last year, I discovered the Bulgarian Training Bag and found you can either buy a beautifully constructed leather BTB from stephennave.com or you can build your own for a few dollars, which is the route I went. Have you built yours yet? These are very easy to make in just a few minutes and some of you will be happy to know that it involves using one of man’s greatest invention, duct tape!
Joe Hashey of Synergy Athletics shows you how to make the basic Bulgarian Training Bag and then a more advanced version. (I have to chuckle at using the word “advanced” to describe something that is mostly a rubber inner tube, duct tape and sand!)
In the third part of his video series, Joe has wrapped it up by demonstrating 40 exercises you can do with your newly constructed bag. Take a look.
