According to CNBC, some guy lifting weights punched out Richard Fuld, Lehman CEO, while on a treadmill at the company’s gym, knocking him out cold. The KO, on September 21st came after Fuld announced the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers.
Vanity Fair reporter, Vicki Ward said she thought Fuld deserved the beat-down based on his testimony. Ward said, “I didn’t think he was contrite at all, I thought he was arrogant.”
The British bank, Barclays grabbed Lehman’s assets valued at $1.35 billion. The Lehman Brothers bankruptcy is the largest in American history.
That punch in the face is nothing compared with what Fuld deserves.
